RULES
Requirements 1. Boat can be made from ONLY 2 materials. Duct Tape & Corrugated Cardboard. 2. Boat will be subject to inspection prior and after the competition to determine if it meets these rules. Judges decisions are final. Further Clarification of Cardboard: Corrugated cardboard is most likely found from Appliance boxes. An example of what CANNOT be used are: carpet tubes; pressed cardboard of any kind; wax covered cardboard; reinforced cardboard. No sealing of the cardboard of any kind. Duct tape may be only used to seal the seams. Majority of the card board must be left exposed. If you don't know ask first. 3. Boat must have 1 person (captain) in the boat & must be at least 18years old. The captain may only have in the boat, one cardboard paddle & two squirt guns. The captain must have lifejacket and shoes (no sandals) on at all times. 4. Maximum dimensions of the boat will be limited to 42 inches wide by 84 inches long.
Advertising/Signage/Decoration: Magic Marker may be used to write on boat. Paint or other materials that would break apart in water cannot e used. Flags and other decor can be used but may not assist in the boat floating.
The Competition Winner is the last boat floating. No touching or trying to sink a competitor's boat other than with water.
Shore Help Water can be purchased to spray from the shore and sink a competitor's boat. Water rights... $5 for 15 seconds; $10 for 25 seconds; $20 for 60 seconds.

Boats must be at the club and ready for inspection at 1pm The calcutta for the boats will start at 1:30 All boats must go on the water at 2pm
